Remote control your system from any location. These devices fit in standard wall boxes and use low gauge wire for hook-up. They are available in white and can be covered with a standard decora plate (not included). Labels for these devices can be made with a template (download Word Document Template above). 'e' versions are available to fit standard european wall boxes

WR-1

The WR-1 is an assignable, dual potentiometer remote volume control for the controlled product. Each volume control is connected to a euroblock jack terminal on the WR-1 circuit board, which in turn must be wired to the 24.24M back panel euroblock connector labeled "0 - 5 Volt Remote Level Control".

By connecting a volume control to a specific pin, that pin can be selected in software under to control the level of any combination of inputs or outputs. It is possible to simultaneously select the same input or output channel to multiple remote level control pins.

The level control is "attenuate only" meaning that the maximum setting of the control potentiometer (fully clockwise) results in 0 dB gain of the controlled channel. Windows are provided for user-generated labels.

WR-2

The WR-2 allows selection of one of four presets via interlocking pushbutton switches. Each pushbutton switch connects to a euroblock on the rear of the controlled product (labeled "1" through "8" "Preset Recall"). The terminal numbers correspond to the first 8 Preset Memory locations in the controlled product. Pressing a button will select the corresponding preset. Windows are provided for a user-generated label.

WR-5

The WR-5 is a microprocessor-based remote control unit for use with NE Series Amplifiers and processors and the Protea 24.24M. The WR-5 is designed to fit into a standard electrical wall box for remote control of assignable functions. Connections are standard Euroblock-type. Up to 4 WR-5’s can be daisy-chained and powered by the controlled product. Additional units can be used with a separate, outboard power supply. A “pocket” is provided in the adhesive overlay to allow the user to easily fabricate/change the button labels.

The WR-5 has six programmable function buttons, each with an LED, Up/Down buttons for incrementing/decrementing volume level, preset selection, etc., and a two-character alphanumeric display.

Each of the six buttons can each be programmed to engage one of the following functions:

1. Preset Recall – Immediately recall an assigned preset.

2. Preset Scroll – Allows user to select any of the allowed presets via the up/down arrow button shown by the alphanumerical display.

3. Gain Control – Allows volume control of assigned inputs/outputs.

4. Channel Mute – Allows mute control of assigned inputs/outputs.

5. Zone Source Selection – Allows for on/off control of assigned inputs, but only for a specific output.
